New Edition & Halloween

Well, it's been awhile since I updated this, so I guess it's about time!! I guess the biggest news would be our new addition. Her name is Kenidee Rose, she came to us on Oct. 20 at 5:16pm. She weighed 8 lbs and was 20" long. She has made such a huge impact on us this last 2 weeks, what a blessing she is. Ava handled her pretty well, when she first met her she didn't really know what to do, she just stared and stared. It was so cute, she has gotten more brave now. She kisses her all the time, that's what she always wants to do. Although sometimes it's scary because they have head-butted once or twice.

I think her and Ava are identical. If anyone has access to look at Ava's new born photos, compare, we have twins that are just 15 months apart :)

Halloween was really fun. It was my first chance to get out of the house with the new one and Ava. I think we all needed it. We went over to Vidal's mom and grandma's and took Ava trick or treating for her first time. She was so cute, she would say thank you as people gave her candy, and once she realized what was going in her sack she insisted on carrying it. I think she was more interested in the other kids and the decorations than anything else though. She was the cutest little mokey I have ever seen! :) And Kenidee was a Zebra, they were so cute!

After they went trick or treating Vidal's grandma had some cookies for Ava to frost, oh what a mess it made, but Ava loved it!

She is so fun! I am so lucky to have such cute girls! On Sunday, the day after Halloween I got a chance to visit with my family, it was nice to see them all, being around family is always so nice.

I'll try to update more, although it might not be that way since I have my hands full. Thanks to everyone for their love and support! It's crazy to think how close thanksgiving and christmas is, oh wow.....I have my work cut out for me!

Fun & Golfing

So every year Vidal's family holds a golf tournament. It was a really fun time, even if I was 6 months pregnant! The first hole - tee off.

I know I don't look near as graceful as Vidal, but at least I tried!!

Ava is now walking, she started a couple days after her birthday and has been on the go since!! She is so much fun, and is very vocal. She has started squealing which is new, but fun at the same time. We'll see if I can tolerate it once she figures out how to make it louder. Here is some newer pictures of her.

Ava's Birthday - 4th of July

This last weekend was pretty fun. We had my birthday and Ava's birthday, and it was great to have Vidal's sister and brother-in-law in town to join in on it all! We had a party for Ava at Vidal's grandma's house, she seemed to have quite a bit of fun :) She loves being around kids, so she was very entertained. At the beginning she was all clen, and cute and having fun, then she got her own cake, and destroyed it, and after her clean up she passed out. Here are the pictures of that happening....

All in all it was a good time, got to spend quality time with the fam! :) Hope everyone else had a good fourth! Oh, and just for fun, here is an update on how I look - the "growing" baby, or lack there of..this was taken this morning, marking about 5 1/2 months along.

Time to Catch Up!

I can't believe that June is already almost over, and our little girl is almost One! Wow how time flies. We are getting ready for Ava's birthday on July 4th, I can't wait to see how she will react to fireworks, it will be so much fun. What an experience! I'm sure after her birthday I will have a lot more to post. She is almost walking, she'll take a couple steps and then sit down, it's so funny. She has so much personality and knows how to throw temper tantrums!

Update on the baby - we have a name picked, Kenidee Rose, although my mom hates it, I think its stuck :) My due date is Oct. 27, I'm half way there already! Thank Goodness!

Bath Time!

So I realize I just updated this, but I can't help but add more when I get such amazing pictures of Ava! She absolutley loves the bath tub. She splashes and just smiles the whole time. In fact, she actually gets mad when we take her out!!

Also, a small announcement, Vidal and I are expecting again! I'll follow with details on the pregnancy once we find out. Hope everyone is starting to enjoy the warming weather! XOXOXO

I had to share the cut new pictures of Ava that Vidal and I got. One night after Ava had gotten out of the bath i was drying my hair from her splashing, and she was so amazed with it that I started blow drying hers. Her hair was so funny after, all puffy and straight, we decided to take a picture. Well, in the process of taking the pictures we didn't really get any of her hair, but we finally got pictures of her teeth!! Yay! she has two on the bottom, so I thought I'd post it on here and show them off :)

Catching Up

Spring is just around the corner and we are definitely looking forward to it! Ava has now made incredible jumps in growing up, she startig crawling and pulling hersel up the same day. Sadly, we have such a small apartment it makes it really hard to make sure everything is well, "babyproof." Hopefully we'll be moving into something bigger come May when our lease is up. I have a couple of fun videos of Ava to post. Here is her crawling, and believe me, she doesn't slow down now!

It's amazing to me that she is doing that, it still seems like she is so young, wow how time flies. And of course, that same day we get to experience this....

We are looking forward to the family trips and time that we get to experience over the spring/summer. Please keep us informed of any events! Love you all, and hope your spring cleaning is going well! Huuurray, it's almost summer!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Our little one had a great Christmas, although she had no idea what was going on, she did enjoy eating the wrapping paper quit a bit! And that's always fun to witness...

She also really loved all of her gifts..

We spent most the day on Christmas in Orem, it was such a good time. Ava enjoyed spending time with the family. Her and Marison together were so cute....it started out nice..

Then Ava had to make her mad....

For New Years we hung out with some of mine and Vidal's good close friends/cousins. I had a great time with all of them. So much fun! We are looking forward to a new year, and a new start. This last year was a tough one, but we've made it through, and hopefully from here on it will just get better.

I'm sure most of you have heard of the show "The Office" on TV. I know my family loves it. I wanted to share with you something that we did to our boss. We wrapped everything in her office with wrapping paper. EVERYTHING the mouse, the computer, every book & picture frame, all her walls, chairs, you get the point. :) Here is a picture!

I hope everyone is enjoying this Holiday Season!! I certainly am, and I am so excited for the snow and having a white Christmas. I can't believe Ava's progress over this last month! It's incredible, she's so cute. Vidal and I also took his nephews to the dinosaur museum, it was so much fun, they are such good boys and I hope they had fun! And thank you so so much to my mom for giving them that extra little "tour" - they really are enjoying the bones they got to take home.

She was so so so so tired. She passed out from all the excitement :)

Ava is now trying to sit independently, and she eats everything, but that's been going on for awhile now. Here are some recent pictures.

And I am sooooo EXCITED! The doctor confirmed at Ava's last appointment that she is going to keep those beautiful blue eyes of hers!! She's going to be a heart breaker!

Last thing I'm going to put on here is a video Vidal took of Ava playing in her "saucer" - she gets extremley frustrated with the toys because they don't seem to go in her mouth.

Quick update, we had a GREAT time in Elko, it was so much fun. I absolutley love Vidal's family, they are so much fun. And thanks to Joey, Kathy, Tommie, and Jim for showing us around! And also helping us win some money....or loose some, whichever way you look at it! haha.
Thanksgiving was great, I hopefully will post pictures soon, we spent the first part of the day with my family down in Springville. It was so fun, and my nephews and niece are the cutest. Vidal and I sat and built things for them most the time, of course I didn't see Ava almost the whole time I was there (she must be a big deal :D). Afterwards we went to Vidal's cousin Daniel's house where we had a second Thanksgiving. Needless to say I was incredibly full! When we got to Elko the next day I didn't hardly eat anything because I was so stuffed!!
Ava is getting SO big. She encountered pretty much her first sickness. Got a pretty bad fever and was just miserable for about 3 days. I got no sleep as well, but I'm just glad she's better. This last week she has also discovered the joys of rolling! haha, she's so funny, she'll roll over and then get mad she's on her stomach. What a character.
Pictures and another update will come soon. Thanksgiving gave me the opportunity to remember all the things I take for granted. I'm so greatful to have a job in these times. And I'm greatful for such an amazing and supportive family. I also love my friends, I can't thank them enough for their loyalty. And of course, my little Ava. I can't believe what a blessing she has been in my life, and how much joy she brings to me. Again, thank you to everyone for everything you've done. I love you all.

I knew I was going to be bad in keeping this updated as soon as I set it up, but who knew it was going to happen this soon.

Really there hasn't been any new developments, Vidal and I are getting his brother's old couches, they are getting switched out as I write this. Hopefully with the new arrangement our apartment won't look as crowded, maybe I'll take some pictures after it's done to show it off! And hopefully when I go home today the apartment won't be a complete wreck!
Ava is getting bigger and bigger. She is starting to eat everything she can get her little hands on. She also seems to be wanting our food as well. The picture below was so funny to watch. EVerytime Vidal would raise the food to his mouth she'd follow it, she does it constantly with everything now. If I hold her she'll follow anything on my fork, so funny and so cute.

Other than that here is a few updated photos of our little one. First picture, she has a new toy, and she gets so passionate about it...I'm sure you'll enjoy her facial expressions while she is trying to attack whatever she can!

Well, here goes! Everyone seems to have these blogs and I love reading them, so maybe it's about time I started one to keep everyone up to date, especially now that our wonderful little girl is with us. With the way she is growing I need something to help me keep everyone up to date!

Here is a couple semi-recent photos of Ava Ann. She's such a doll with so much personality. I can't believe she is already 4 months old! How time flies...

This picture makes Vidal and I laugh everytime we see it because it's her typical look. So funny.

Her expressions are priceless, she has one eyebrow that she raises when she hears something, she must get it from her dad because I sure can't do that. (yes, I'm a litle jealous)

This is another funny picture, this was taken in the car. She has discovered that she can see us if she turns her head to the side. So now, everytime we drive, we're getting stared at. What a cutie.

Last but not least, Halloween was this last week. Vidal, fortunatley, found her a costume. We were about to give up after looking in every Halloween store we passed and having no luck.
